The blender only exhibits this bleed when an auxiliary port, labeled as such on the side, is used. This bleed is necessary to ensure concentration accuracy when using the blender for low flows, typically between 3 and 15 lpm. If your flow requirements are above 15 lpm, then the primary port is recommended as this port does not induce a bleed.
If your flow requirements are always less than 30 lpm, the 2003 Low Flow Blender is recommended. This blender has no bleed from 3 to 30 lpm and for flows less than 3 lpm, only a 3 lpm bleed is induced. Click here for more on this subject.
